​Marden Seed Grants Scheme aims to promote synergy of theory and practice in catering for diversity for all students who have special learning needs in both special and mainstream schools by providing financial support for research conducted by the members of CAISE.

 

Financial assistance is available for research-related activities such as data collection and conference presentations. Below are some examples of possible research areas for your reference:

 

• Research that fosters the advancement in teaching for diversity and meeting the needs of students with special needs in mainstream and/or special schools; 

• Research that explores the implementation of the SAME approach in special and mainstream schools; 

• Research that evaluates a programme for the gifted underachievers;

• Research that focuses on a currently unaddressed topic or neglected area in catering for diversity in either special or mainstream schools.
